Sounds pretty exciting. Can’t wait to hear what new sounds they may be dropping in Lithuania on May 25th.

Happy Birthday Maxim Reality

Happy Birthday Maxim Reality

G’day fellow Fanboys! Finally back from vacation. Had a nice holiday break!

Didn’t check my email at all and ended up with just over 200 messages and also missed some Prodigy news. Last night I caught up with some news and have yet to contact everyone who has contacted us via Contact Form, Facebook and Twitter. I will do so when I can.

Anyhow, the boys are back on tour in about a months time. Quite a few new tour dates have been announced and you can checkout the gig list here. Seems to be Europe for now. Also most likely the boys will be unleashing new beats! Good times :)

Anyone who is heading out to the upcoming gigs, feel free to send us your review, videos, pictures, audio and so on.

Most important, our favourite MC turned 45 years old on March 21st!

Maxim, we know you’ll be reading this mate. So The Prodigy Fanboy community, MartinProdigy, ET and I wish you a happy birthday. Hope you had a great day mate!

I have no idea how you do it, you put your voice out at every gig and always deliver! We love your vibe! and appreciated it very much.

I will never forget the first words I heard you say live “Where the fuck is Melbourne!” Haha.

So hopefully we’ll be hearing some of the new beats over in Germany, lucky bustards!

Skrillex Confirmed for Warriors Dance Festival

Skrillex

Skrillex

UPDATE: I can now confirm, that Skrillex is a special guest for Warriors Dance Festival. It was confirmed by The Prodigy via their newsletter.

Now don’t take our word for it. Also this is not confirmed by The Prodigy.

However, over at metalserbia.com. The current lineup for the 3rd Warriors Dance Festival is as follows:

The Prodigy, Skrillex, Jet, rhythm Nereda, Eyesburn, Lollobrigida, Petrol, Dreddup & Hype.

I personally have never heard about the other groups. Also, I think Skrillex is a highly possible act for Warriors Dance Festival.

It’s a great quick interview guys, listen to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SG9alM9Mng8

Warriors Dance Festival: Belgrade 15.09.12

Information about the 3rd Warriors Dance Festival has been leaked a little early. Just before Liam & Keith sit down with Zane Lowe later today.

According to skiddle.com:

The Prodigy are proud to present the next instalment of their ‘Warrior’s Dance Festival’ at Kalemegdan Fortess in Belgrade on September 15th 2012.

Following the success of the inaugural event at Makuhari Messe, Tokyo in 2009 to the dizzy heights and rave reviews of last year’s second extravaganza at Milton Keynes Bowl, UK, the foundations have firmly been set to take the experience to Eastern Europe and to raise the bar once more for the Serbian people. Warrior’s Dance Festival, Serbia has been curated by The Prodigy and will feature an eclectic and innovative bill based around a music policy favouring heavy beats and guitars. The festival promises to provide a spectrum of entertainment and performances across three stages featuring international guests to be announced.

The Prodigy to announce 3rd Warriors Dance Festival?

3rd Milton Keynes Festival

3rd Milton Keynes Festival

If you head over to the Warriors Dance Festival website. You will find a graphic showing 3 boxes.

The first box has the Japanese flag, the 2nd has the English flag. The 3rd, is empty!

So this looks like a teaser, that there will be a 3rd Warriors Dance Festival.

Who will be the lucky country? I’m hoping for Australia!

Hello Fanboys, in the lates blog post by the boys. They announced a new tour date for 2012 and which will be the only UK date that year, Download Festival.

The boys did confirm that new songs will be played at the festival! This is going to be a big one, the only UK gig for 2012? Damn all of Prodigy fans will be there!

However, also in the blog post. Came even better news. New album is due later 2012! I was not expecting that! I would have guessed early 2013.

Anyhow, here is the blog post in it’s entirety:
we have chosen to headline download festival as our only uk festival show next year and will be playin some new songs for the first time from our next album due later 2012 …….. see you there Liam, Keef & Maxim

The Prodigy will headline the main stage on Friday 8th June. Tickets available from www.downloadfestival.co.uk

Thanks to everyone who sent this in! Too many too mention.

UPDATE: James Malley from our Facebook Page noticed first that the boys do say Festival. That doesn’t mean they won’t be doing any actual gigs on their own in the UK. However don’t take our word for it. If you can get Download Festival tickets, get them. Then wait and see if anything else gets announced in the near future.
