Man, I cannot believe it. I get to see The Prodigy live again, too cool man.
I often told my mates over the past few months how the boys should have done SoundWave Festival last season. Had Marilyn Manson & Slipknot, & so many other great bands I discovered on that day. I was saying, this time around they’ve just got to do it. Jump on board this heavy metal festival. It actually happened! I’m really surprised & excited man.
So SoundWave is only three dates, I’m guessing they’ll add a sideshow in Sydney. But that’s not confirmed at all guys. Let’s wait for official word.
The first wave of announcements for the lineup isn’t the best to be honest, but do have some really great bands in there & the second announcement should be good. We do have Public Enemy coming down! That is too cool man.
Should be really interesting what tracks they’ll drop. It is a very different crowd to what they usually play too here. So maybe they’ll stick to the current set. Would be neat to have AWOL, just makes sense now that it is out… Or maybe some surprise? Last season we were lucky enough to hear lot’s of new tracks from The Day Is My Enemy before the album was out. So that was special.
Anyhow, what is even sweeter for me. The Sydney show is on my 30th birthday! Should be good.
