Hello everyone. Just want to take this chance to say Merry Christmas too all the Fanboy fans and happy holidays. Be sure to be safe n’ all. Don’t get too drunk on New Years ;)

It’s been a great year for The Prodigy. Their live release of Milton Keynes. ‘Smack My Bitch Up’ voted the most controversial song ever. Wrapping up the Invaders tour. Red Ant Label. AWOL / Bring The Noise and so on.

Looking forward to 2012. At the moment, there is only one festival date. I’m sure that will change. Should be plenty of new beats. It’s a great time to be a fan, good times! Maybe we’ll get an album title. Maybe a single? I doubt we’ll get an album release however it would be incredible!

Want to say to the community here, thanks for all the support here at Fanboy, everyone who took the time to send in news items, pictures, videos, remixes and so on. Everyone who post comments on our site. It is very much appreciated. It’s you guys that make Fanboy so great!

Liam Howlett AONO

Hello Fanboys, in the lates blog post by the boys. They announced a new tour date for 2012 and which will be the only UK date that year, Download Festival.

The boys did confirm that new songs will be played at the festival! This is going to be a big one, the only UK gig for 2012? Damn all of Prodigy fans will be there!

However, also in the blog post. Came even better news. New album is due later 2012! I was not expecting that! I would have guessed early 2013.

Anyhow, here is the blog post in it’s entirety:

UPDATE: James Malley from our Facebook Page noticed first that the boys do say Festival. That doesn’t mean they won’t be doing any actual gigs on their own in the UK. However don’t take our word for it. If you can get Download Festival tickets, get them. Then wait and see if anything else gets announced in the near future.

Keith on the road

Keith seems to be enjoying the blogging and tweeting a lot. He just wrote another one which is up on his web site teamtractioncontrol.com. The blog is about their gig at the Hultsfred festival in Sweden, the shit weather causing a lack of “traction control” on stage, being mentioned on Eurosport and Keith’s journey to Pembrey. Respect to all Romanian fans that came out last night! Its been over a month since we played our last gig so the buzz to get on that stage and show Romania we came to throw it down was strong! It was 2009 when we were there last and people came out to represent, true warriors!
The live show fuels us to get in the studio and so do the fans. All things are movin good on the studio front and watchin Glastonbury last week made me hungry to get back on stage with new tunes and to show people how its really done!
Oh on another note im putting on my first art exhibition in london. I thought it was about time i had the balls to let people see the shit i do in my spare time!!
