Last week The Prodigy announced a 6 gig UK tour in December and were keen to give mailing list members 24 hours advance notice to buy tickets. This allocation has now Sold Out. Whilst we’re happy so many fans have been able to buy tickets in advance we’re aware this still leaves many disappointed. However, please bear in mind the remainder of the tickets go on general sale tomorrow morning (Thurs 21st) at 10am on the gigsandtours website…
This for me is big news and something to follow.. So hopefully us Aussies will get a 2015 tour. In my opinion, this is high on the list and will most likely happen. It’s been about two years now, The Prodigy tend to come here every two years or so…

Omen : New Single From The Prodigy : Great news, the exclusive play of the new Prodigy video Omen will be on Channel 4 in the UK at 12:05 am (GMT) this coming Saturday night/Sunday morning. The video will then be available exclusively on the bands MySpace page and Official site.

And then the album was released few days later I believe…
So, I couldn’t find when the band actually announced the release date of the new Invaders Must Die album. However, I did some more searching. In my email account, I search all the newsletters that were sent out by the band and found the release date reveal!

the fifth studio album by the prodigy ‘invaders must die’ will be released on mon 23rd february 2009, with the first single ‘omen’ being released on monday 16th february 2009

Ah so there it is all. Quite a bit of homework into this post. I know it will help us get some idea os what’s going to happen I guess. Seems like we’ll be waiting just a little longer for actual release date for the new album. That’s cool. I do have to mention, between all these dates.
