This interview was broadcasted yesterday on Pete Tong’s show @ BBC Radio 1 and this time Liam Howlett was his special guest getting transferred on a marvellous rewinding time machine on the Hall Of Fame section.                                                                                                                                                                 Liam talks about his personal music influences and his wake up call soundtracks in his youth, how he got convinced by his father to start learning playing piano, and how Leeroy played a key role in forming Prodigy as a band “…it was Leeroy’s idea actually to start The Prodigy..The Prodigy was already me on my own in my bedroom writing tunes…the band was formed in October 1990” talking also about the legendary XL Recordings, early prodge releases from there, how Jilted & Firestarter took the band to another level, TFOTL success and of course closing with The Day is My Enemy era & tour and his decision to quit releasing albums.

Totally interesting stuff and always good to hear good old stories about the band, furthermore when these stories are revealed from an essential member of the band!
