"It's important not to get too locked into one way of thinking, some kind routine or format. That's what happened to me with the first album, Experience. I got locked into certain sounds within that rave scene, specific types of songs, and as a result it is quite a one dimensional record. I don't want to do that again." - Liam Howlett

The Evil Dead remake
« on: 5 years ago »
I'm a huge fan of the original Evil Dead movie and the other two followups.

I was a little nervous and annoyed when I heard they were making a remake of this classic film. However after watching the trailer, holy crap this looks even better than the original.

Have a look here:

I keep hearing good things about this one.  I've avoided it as like you I thought it would ruin the original but perhaps I'll have a butchers after all.

For some reason it might be showing in Australian cinemas! I cannot see it listed! :( Looks like I'll have to wait for it now. Disappointing.

Are you a fan of Part 3? I freaking love that as well. Even tho it was more of a comedy than anything else.

Ok so I watched it last night. It's freaking awesome! Scary and gory. I loved it. The movie is brilliant! I highly recommend everyone to watch this right now at the cinemas! You won't be disappointed. And if you do, don't leave the cinemas right away when movie is finished... 8)

Better than OG? SNAP!

I think they both are equally brilliant. The OG is just too iconic for me.
