The Prodigy – Milton Keynes Bowl SOLD OUT

Well The Prodigy have sold out the Milton Keynes Bowl. It will be their biggest solo gig to date. I wish I could be there. I really think they are going to drop a few new tunes. Here’s the official statement from the official website:

All the tickets have now been sold out for Warrior’s Dance Festival on 24th July. More info coming soon…..

Also, heres some information about the gig:

The Prodigy are to play their biggest ever solo show in the UK when they headline Milton Keynes Bowl on Saturday 24th July 2010.

Joining them are their ‘special guests’: Pendulum, Enter Shikari, Chase and Status, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, and Zane Lowe.

There can be no doubt that this year belongs to the Prodigy. They’re back, getting in the world’s face and doing what they do best: they’ve proved themselves as the last gang in town all over again, selling over a million copies of new album ‘Invaders Must Die’ and playing a string of devastating live shows across the world that turn any gig into a festival and any festival into an snarling, pogoing orgy of mayhem.

Cut 2 Kill – Liam Howlett

Well. Many of you might not know. Before Liam formed The Prodigy, he was part of a hip hop group called Cut 2 Kill.

Listen To The Basstone was Liam Howlett’s very first appearance on vinyl, as part of Cut 2 Kill. This was the only record Liam produced with Cut 2 Kill and is credited on the centre label. This includes two mixes of listen to the basstone + the track talkin facts. Liam decided to leave Cut 2 Kill when they nearly got into a shooting during a gig at a bar.

I have included a picture of Liam from Cut 2 Kill and the track Listen To The Basstone.

Should Sharky/Leeroy Return?

Our latest Poll Question: Should Sharky / Leeroy Return? For those who don’t know. Leeroy and Sharky were original members of The Prodigy. Sharky left the group in the early days of The Prodigy and Leeroy left sometime during 2000. Both members were dancers.

Personally. Even tho the boys have moved on, I would love to see Sharky & Leeroy back as dancers. They did bring a vibe to the live show just watching videos of them.
